Elevate - Youth Employment Pathways

Elevate is a strengths-based programme supporting rangatahi (young people) aged 15-24 who are not currently engaged in education, training, or employment. Our focus is on helping young people build confidence, develop life and employability skills, and take positive steps towards their future.

At the heart of Elevate is tailored, holistic support. Our experienced Navigators work alongside rangatahi to understand their goals, strengths, and challenges, and provide practical support to develop and implement a pathway into education, training or employment.

Elevate is delivered in two main ways depending on where a young person is at:

• Work Ready Course – a structured programme for rangatahi who need additional support to build confidence, life skills, and work readiness before moving into employment or training.
• Employment Navigator – one-to-one support for rangatahi who are ready to look for work now and need tailored help to secure and sustain employment.

Across both pathways rangatahi may access support such as budgeting, driver licensing, job search and interview preparation, workplace visits, connections with employers, ongoing mentoring, and support to strengthen health and wellbeing.
