Jubilee Budget Advisory Service Ltd is a non profit charitable company owned by the Jubilee Christian Charitable Trust. The budget service evolved at the same time to compliment the Trusts work to provide budgeting advice and education, to empower those to be good stewards with their own finances and live a life less complicated with no or low debt. We are a free and confidential service and funded by various Government departments and local organisations. Our aim is to empower the client – not take over and control their finances. My role is to coach, advise and support you to gain a job. We are a customised programme providing what the individual may need including CV, Cover Letters, Interviews, Job Applications, direct employer profiling and much more. Once placed in work we continue to support you.

Our services are funded by the Southern District Health Board, South Canterbury DHB, and by the Ministry of Social Development and are free to clients and their families.

Thrive! Te Pae Ora is a service for young people aged 12 to 19.Our team of registered health professionals including counsellors, psychologists, social workers, nurses and occupational therapists work to help young people manage the ups and downs of life, particularly challenges with mental health and/or alcohol and other drug use. Family/Whānau Support

Our Family/Whānau Support workers are experts in the field of mental health and addiction.

They understand the impacts of mental distress and addiction, they understand the system, and they collaborate with District Health Boards and other services so that families are well resourced in the care of their loved one.

Able Minds builds resilience so families can cope effectively with the challenges they face because we know it can be demanding to support someone living with mental distress or addiction.

In particular, Able Minds’ Support workers provide –

Resources and information that may help you and the wider community better understand mental distress and addiction. We also provide education on different types of mental distress with a key role in assisting family and whānau with problem solving and coping strategies.

Support for whānau who has a loved one who is experiencing mental distress or addiction. We’re here to listen, offer hope and encouragement, help you develop strategies for dealing with difficulties, and to create support networks so you and your family or whānau can cope.

Advocacy, as we acknowledge the importance of the family voice and will support you to feel empowered to ensure your concerns and opinions are heard. We can provide practical support in your contact with other service providers if needed.

Timeout Contact

Timeout Contact is an accredited member of the Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Supervised Contact Services Inc (ANZASCS) and approved by Oranga Tamariki (formerly known as Child, Youth and Family) and the Ministry of Justice to provide services across Otago and Southland.

Our Timeout Contact Supervisors work alongside children and their significant family or whānau members who are exposed to challenges associated with separation.

They provide them a neutral-based supervised contact service which establishes and maintains family bonds and creates positive memories through the facilitation of safe and meaningful contact.

Timeout Contact can also provide for a fee, a changeover transportation service that provides qualified staff to facilitate the movement of children between households. This allows parents to avoid direct contact especially during high conflict situations such separation.

Services are either Court Ordered or can be privately arranged.
