Community Networking Trust

Leading and enabling effective social service provision in Eastern Southland

The Community Networking Trust (Eastern Southland Inc) was set up in 2000 with a vision to support a healthy, resilient and connected community. Nineteen years on and the CNT continues to lead and enable effective social service provision in Eastern Southland. One of the primary initiatives was to provide a Centre where services could be located and accessed to enable better delivery.

Thanks for staying home New Zealand. By staying home we can break the chain of transmission and save lives.

This situation is temporary, and while we don’t know how long it will last, we do know that things will get better over time. And it’s good to pay attention to your wellbeing.

  • Do things that ground you – practical tasks like organizing the garage or cupboards, completing home projects, just organising things can be a good way to feel more grounded.
  • Maintain - or maybe start - daily routines … things like when you have meals or showers.
  • Give each other space – make sure that everyone in your ‘bubble’ has some time and space to themselves.
